Obituary
Nancy R. Withers, 84, passed away on Sunday February 12, 2023. She was born in Fairfield County, SC, daughter of the late Otis and Sadie Richardson. She was preceded in death by a daughter Renee' Brackett Powers, brother Tom Richardson and a sister Bernice Rhyne. She graduated from Ashley High School in 1956. She worked for Shiflet Dixon for many years. She was a member of Community Baptist Church in Dallas.
She is survived by her husband Charles A. Withers, daughter Reesa Brackett Smith and husband Darrell of Dallas, son Reese Dennis Brackett of N. Myrtle Beach, SC, Sherry Gibby and husband Rick of Dallas, Cindy Wright and husband Jerry of Shelby, 7 grandchildren Reese Dennis Brackett III, Justin Smith (Ashley), Jesse Smith, Dillon Smith, Laura Brackett (Jonathan Kueny), Ethan Brackett and Lily Gates (Brent). 4 great grandchildren Stella, Memphis, Oliver and Colton, son in law Tim Powers, a sister Betty Aumack, brother Ken Richardson.
A graveside service will be held 2:00pm Thursday February 16, 2023 at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery in Dallas.
In lieu of flowers. memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
