Otis Davis Obituary

Otis Wayne Davis, 74, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2023 in Gastonia, NC. He was born on November 24, 1949 to the late Otis and Alowayne Davis in Jackson County, NC.

Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by 2 children Shawn Sessoms (Michelle) of Marion and Shannon Mullis (Steve) of Dallas; 3 grandchildren Kayla Hunnicut, Cameron Mullis and Ashten Mullis; and 4 sisters Theresa Lee, Claudia Patterson, Rosettia Cozart and Jerrlin Hallman.

Otis was an avid hunter who loved spending time outdoors hunting with friends and family.

A celebration of life service will be held at Catfish Cove on December 3rd, 2023 at 11:00am for family and friends to pay their respects.
