Pauline Allison Crisp

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pauline Allison Crisp, age 91. Pauline passed away peacefully on September 23, 2023 at the Robin Johnson Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.

Pauline was born on May 28, 1932 in McDowell County to the late Ernest and Lillie Bell Allison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Max Rhom and Donald Crisp and a son James Ernest "Redbird" Rhom. She is survived by two sons Eddie Rhom and wife Robin of Mount Holly and Michael Dennis Rhom of Mount Holly; six grandchildren Brian Rhom (Danielle), Chris Rhom (Ashley), Christy Puckett (Darren), Benton Rhom (Rachel), Morgan Rhom (Lexi) and Thomas Rhom (Chloe); four great grandchildren; two brothers Jay Allison and Ray Allison; one sister Faye Allison; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Pauline was a lifetime member of Old Fort Church of God. She retired from Presbyterian Hospital business office.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday September 27th at 2:00pm at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery located at Charles Raper Jonas Highway in Mount Holly NC. The service will be public for all family members and friends who wish to attend.
