The world lost a beloved father, husband, and friend on July 16, 2023 when Randolph Franklin Helderman passed away in Gastonia, North Carolina. He was born on September 22, 1956 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Morrison "Swink" Helderman and Elizabeth "Libby" Helderman. He was preceded in death by his brother Michael Helderman and a grandson Cylus Pruitt..

Randolph graduated from West Mecklenburg High School.

Randolph was married to Angela Helderman for 11 years and together they had four children: Michael Heldrman (Shelby), William "Billy" Helderman, Amber Brooks (Jimmy) and Robert Pruitt (Sarah). He also had five grandchildren: Brayden Helderman, Joshua Dixon, Nevaeh McGee, Makenzi Pruitt,  and Elias Pruitt.

Randolph was a kind and generous man who loved life. His favorite hobby was watching NASCAR - especially his favorite racer Denny Hamlin.

A funeral service will be held for Randolph at First Methodist Church,  140 North Main Street in Mount Holly, North Carolina on Wednesday July 19th at 2pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
