Randy Charles Dixon, 73, departed this life on May 13, 2025.  A lifelong resident of Charlotte, Randy grew up in the Coulwoodcommunity where he was active in a number of activities including baseball and football. He was a graduate of West Mecklenburg High School.

Randy is survived by his wife Alice Dixon, his mother Lucille Dixon, sister Tina Wilson (Graham), daughter Holly Honeycutt (Eric), grandsons Gavin, Aiden, and Holden along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Dixon.

After high school, Randy and his cousin opened the first successful audio duplication company in South Carolina.  Later on, Randy became a key member of one the top home entertainment companies in the United States as VP of Sales and Marketing at UAV Corp.

Randy and Alice worked to build a successful business supply company and were able to fulfill their dream of building a home on Mountain Island Lake, where they enjoyed entertaining family and friends with cookouts and boat rides.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday May 24 at Christ United Methodist Church, 8020 Bellhaven Blvd. Charlotte with visitation to follow in the church’s Family Life Center.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jason Schultz and his team at Novant Health-Cancer Institute for their dedication to Randy’s care and to Dr. April Caperna and her team at Via Health Partners.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice House at Aldersgate.
