Robert Kenneth Baker, 79 of Mount Holly, passed away on Saturday February 11, 2023. He was born in Mount Holly, son of the late Robert and Jewel Reeves Baker. He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years Katherine Martin Baker and daughter Carol Ann Dixon. He was also preceded in death by his second wife Kathy Bennett Baker. He worked at the A&E Rush plant for over 30 years. He loved to fish and never met a stranger. He loved to make people smile.

He is survived by his children Robbie Baker and fiance Beth Arrowood of Gastonia, Kenny Baker of Lincolnton, Lara Jean Baker Cochran and husband Tim of Mount Holly. 8 grandchildren Robert, Tosha, Alex, Christopher, Brandon, Amanda, Charity and Isaac and 16 great grandchildren, a sister Ann Goodson of Mount Holly, a niece Kim Paxton and a nephew Jim Paxton.

A service to celebrate his life will be held 1:00pm Wednesday February 15, 2023 at Lighthouse Full Gospel Church in Mount Holly with Revs. Tim Small and Isaac Cochran officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
