Robert Allen Watkins

Robert Allen (Bob) Watkins passed away on February 4th, 2023 at the age of 77, at his home in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Robert retired from the Charlotte Fire Department in 1992 after 25 years of dedicated service. He loved spending time outdoors gardening, camping, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed living in his cabin that he built by hand in Whitmire, SC.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Mason Sr. and Anne Watkins and wife, Mary Arbogast Watkins.

Robert is survived by his brothers, Mason Watkins Jr. and Willis Watkins (Jo); daughters, Kim Revis (Todd Parsons) and Joy Taylor (Mark retired FireFighter with CFD); grand children, Danielle Walker (Jamie), Britnie Marlow (Daniel), Nicole Taylor (Avery Flores) and Johnathan Parsons; great-grandchildren, Mila, Jace, Monroe, Miller and due soon grandson Kade as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held at HCC, Harvest Church, 826 West Charlotte Avenue Mt Holly, NC 28120 on Sunday February 12th, 2023 between 2pm to 4pm and a meal for close family between 4pm to 5pm. Flowers can be sent to Joy or Kim.
