It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Rodney Mechab Williams, who left this world peacefully at his home on March 6, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on April 18, 1960, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Rodney was a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend whose spirit touched the lives of many.

Rodney was the beloved son of the late Sandra and Wayne Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his devoted brothers, Perry Williams, Chris Williams, and Kevin Williams, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will carry his memory forward.

A visitation will be held from 11-1:00pm March 26, 2025 at Berryhill Baptist Church, 9801 Walkers Ferry Rd, Charlotte, NC 28214 . Service will follow the visitation. As we say goodbye to Rodney Mechab Williams, let us celebrate a life lived, honoring the love he shared and the memories he created.
