Ronnie Earl Chastaine, a beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at the Robin Johnson Hospice House on January 7, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on May 8, 1961, in Gaston County, Ronnie was a cherished member of his community, and his warm spirit and kind heart touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ronnie was the son of the late Earl and Caloesa "Callie" Chastaine. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughters Lisa Reid and Chasity Chastaine, and his brother Bill Humphery.

He is survived by his loving daughters Casey Rhinehart, Whitney Chastaine, and Tresa Lamberts and her husband Ryan Lamberts, and a sister Alice Neil. Ronnie was a proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride. He cherished every moment spent with them, imparting lessons of kindness, strength, and love that will resonate through generations.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on February 1, 2025, at the Lowell Community Building from12:00-4:00PM. This gathering will celebrate Ronnie's life, allowing friends and family to share their memories and honor the remarkable person he was.
