Rosetta “Pat” Lawrence of Iron Station, NC passed away on January 8, 2024 after a long illness.
Mrs. Lawrence was born on June 18, 1933 in Turnerville, Georgia to Eugenia and Wofford
Dover. She moved to Charlotte with her family in the 1940’s. Mrs. Lawrence retired from
Graphics Packaging in Charlotte after many years of service. She is predeceased by her parents
and by her husband William Rudolph Lawrence. Surviving Mrs. Lawrence are her two sons,
William Jackson Lawrence (Katie) of Harrisburg, NC and Alfred Lee Lawrence (Chris) of
Lincolnton, NC. Mrs. Lawrence is also survived by grandchildren Matthew Lawrence, Hickory,
NC, Adam Lawrence (Sydney), Mooresville, NC, Jenny Lawrence (Phillip West), Charlotte, NC,
Genie Pope, Texas, two step-grandchildren Patsy Branch and J.C. Branch and seven great-
grandchildren. Interment at Sharon Memorial Park, Charlotte, NC with graveside service on
Wednesday January 10 at 1:00 pm.
