Roy Walter Black Obituary

Roy Walter Black, 77,passed away on Monday December 19, 2022. He was born in Houston, Texas, son of the late Emma and Roy Walter Black Sr. He was a member of the Model T Club and the Jeep Club.  He volunteered at the Billy Graham Library for many years.

He is survived by his wife of over 49 years Janis Black, 2 sons Jason Black and wife Jen of Mount Holly, Justin Black of Mount Holly, 4 grandchildren Austin, Olivia, Elly and Jase. 7 Siblings Michael, John, Terry, Thomas, Steven, Mary and Christine.

A service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00pm Thursday December 22, 2022 at Tuckaseege Baptist Church in Mount Holly. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery.
