Ruby Taylor Featherston Wallace, 93, of Dallas, NC passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Stanley Total Living Center. Ruby was born on October 25, 1930 in Mecklenburg County to the late Charles Jennings Featherston and Lettie Kathleen Lennon Featherston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Don Wallace, and sons, Don Taylor Wallace, Eddie Dale Wallace, and Jack Allen Wallace.
She is survived by her son Wayne Glenn Wallace, and daughter Susan Wallace Jacobs, as well as several grand children and great grandchildren.
Ruby graduated from Gastonia High School in 1950. Throughout her life, she was known for her skills and talents of crocheting, gardening, sewing, and caring for her family. She will also be greatly remembered for her famous white cucumber seeds that were sold nationwide for many years. She was a hard worker, full of spunk, and loved the Lord.
There will be a receiving of family and friends on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 3-4 pm at Independent Baptist Tabernacle Church in Dallas, NC, with a graveside service to follow.
