Sarah Radford Berg

Sarah Radford Berg, 92, of 752 E Center Street passed away Monday April 5, 2021 at Accordious Health in Mooresville. 

A native Mooresville, she was the widow of John J. Berg.  Mrs. Berg was born August 17, 1928 daughter of the late John Knox and Ruth Brawley Radford.  She was a retired supervisor from Troutman Shirt company and member of Triplett United Methodist Church. She enjoyed volunteering at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center where she was known as the hugging volunteer. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 2 brothers Ed and Albert Radford and three sisters Marion Harwell, Lois Boostrom and Johnsie Matthews.

Mrs. Berg is survived by her son David Berg and his wife Ann of Mt Holly, a sister Lucille Washington, 2 grandsons and 2 great grandsons. 
A private graveside service will be held Saturday at 11:00am at Triplett United Methodist Church cemetery in Mooresville with Rev. Rick Auten officiating.
