Steve McKinley Nash, 54, of Mount Holly, passed away Sunday November 21, 2021. He was born in Mount Holly, son of the late Harvey and Doris Nash. He was preceded in death by his sister Teresa Nash. He was a lifetime member of Centerview Baptist Church. He worked at Airgas for over 20 years, where he was proud of the work he accomplished there and the lifelong friendships that were made. He loved to be outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and riding his motorcycle. He enjoyed spending time with his children and especially grandchildren who were the light of his life.
He is survived by the love of his life Edee Nash, who shared 35 years of life together, 3 daughters Erica Cousar (Jason) of Mount Holly, Amber Powderly (Jim) of Charlotte, Ashley Wood (Nick) of Mount Holly, 9 grandchildren Towner, Bailey, Beckham, Bella, Demi, Leo, Silvi, Wyatt and Lakyn, a sister Elaine Holden (Randy) and numerous special nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held 3:00pm Wednesday November 24, 2021 at the First Methodist Church in Mount Holly. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Levine and Dickson Hospice House, 11900 Vanstory Drive, Huntersville NC.
