Steven Wayne Sherard

Steven Wayne Sherard Sr., 69, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 12, 2020. He was the son of the late Max Howe Sherard and the late Lucy Miller Sherard. He is also preceded in death by his beloved dog, Buster.

Steve was a faithful member of Revival Tabernacle in Stanley, NC for 40 years. He worked for CSX Transportation for over 30 years.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Frances Youngblood Sherard.  He is also survived by his two daughters Tracy Boughman (Michael) of Stanley and Lisa Graham (James) of Mt. Holly. Two sons, Steven Sherard, Jr. (Shannon) and David Sherard (Tonya). Grandchildren, Sydney, Kasey, Sky, Noah, Coltan, Caison, and great grandchildren, Max and Lawson.

Steve was a true family man. He loved his wife, children, his grand and great grandchildren. We find comfort knowing he is in heaven looking after us all.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Steve Sherard will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Revival Tabernacle in Stanley, NC. The family will receive friends and family from 3:00 – 4:00 prior to the service.
