Suzanne Lee Cheeseman Demus, 75 of Mount Holly NC passed away August 23, 2024. She was a happy, high spirited, crafter, singer and lover of her flowers. She was the best wife of 54 years to the love of her life, Duane Demus. She was the awesome mother of two daughter, Michelle Demus Nesbit (Chris) of Mooresville, NC and Beth Demus Maner (Christopher) of Mount Holly. She was Grammie to her Sweet Pea, Allison Nesbit of Mooresville. She loved Allison so much and loved to send her cards with hearts everywhere. She loved taking care of her surviving mother Audrey Cheeseman of Stanley, NC. We can't forget her kitty cat, Lucy Lou, she loved cats. She had the most generous, loving heart and touched so many lives. She was a member of First Methodist Church in Mount Holly where she was a member of the choir and played handbells. She was loved by all. When she walked into a room, she always had a smile on her face and brightened anywhere she was.Her favorite place was to go to the beach. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Cheeseman, and her brother Robert W. Cheeseman. The family will hold a Celebration of Life Service 11:00am Tuesday August 27, 2024 at First Methodist Church in Mount Holly in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Methodist Church Mount Holly.
