Tammy Williams (Rowell) Stamey

Tammy Williams Stamey, 58, passed away on Monday July 26, 2021. She was born in Monroe, daughter of Richard and Clara Rowell. She was preceded in death by her father Richard Rowell, former husband Bucc Williams, and grandparents Guy and Lillian Privette. She was a hairdresser at Modern Texture. Tammy loved her family and spending time at the beach.  

She is survived by her husband Doug Stamey, 2 daughters Morgan Riles (DJ) and Mallory Jackson (Elijah), 4 grandchildren Abby and Cheyenne Riles, Micah and Isaac Jackson. Mother Clara Cook (Robert), sister Teresa York (Mitchell), brother Richie Rowell and numerous nieces nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 11:30-1:00pm Saturday July 31, 2021 at the Mount Holly Church of God, 208 Rankin Ave, Mount Holly NC 28120. A memorial service will follow for the family and close friends. Due to the estimated size of the gathering, mask are encouraged.
