It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tanya Beth Crisp, a beloved mother, daughter, and friend, who left us far too soon on October 21, 2025, at the Caromont Regional Medical Center. Born August 25, 1987, in Gaston County, Tanya was a radiant soul whose presence lit up the lives of those around her.

Tanya graduated from East Gaston High School in 2005, where her bubbly personality and outgoing nature began to shine brightly. She was known for her ability to make friends wherever she went, never meeting a stranger. This warmth and generosity extended into her working life, where she was employed at MTB Mechanical and later at Eastwood Homes. She was admired not only for her skills but also for her unwavering support for her coworkers and friends.

Tanya was a devoted mother to her son, Logan Crisp, and her love for him was immeasurable. She was proud of him and embraced every moment of motherhood with joy. Her mother, April Crisp, and her beloved Maw Maw, Ruth Crisp, cherished every moment spent with her. Tanya is also survived by her special friend, Amy Anderson, who was like a sister to her, along with numerous friends and extended family members who were touched by her kindness and spirit.

Tanya had a variety of interests that brought joy to her life. She loved to cook, often gathering everyone around her table to share the delicious meals she prepared. In her downtime, she found delight in playing Candy Crush on her phone, where her competitive nature shone through. These simple pleasures provided her with happiness and connected her to those she loved.

A celebration of her life will be held on October 24, 2025, at 5:00 PM at New Life Baptist Church in Stanley. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor Tanya’s vibrant spirit, share stories, and reminisce about the beautiful moments that she created with each other from 4:00-5:00pm prior to the service at the church,
