Timothy Norman Tidd

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Timothy Norman Tidd, who passed away on August 7th, 2023 at the age of 69 in Gastonia, North Carolina. He was born on February 12, 1954 in Illinois to the late Norvin and Nancy Tidd.

Timothy was a loving father to Danielle Clayton (Chris) of Pennsylvania, Rocky Tidd (Michelle) of Mount Holly, and Tim Tidd (Brittany) of Kings Mountain. He was also blessed with nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Timothy is also survived by his brother Terry Tidd and a sister Pam Nicholson.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Karen Tidd, his sister Rita Haas, sister Carol Michael, and brother Kenny Tidd.

Timothy was a hardworking man who was owner/operator of Extreme Canopy where he retired. In his free time he enjoyed cooking and fishing. It always made him happy to cook for others. He was an avid reader and enjoyed life to its fullest.

A celebration of life service will be held 3:00pm on August 13th at Cornerstone Family Worship located at Rankin Avenue in Mount Holly, NC.
