It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Vickie Rose Pace Flowers, born October 6, 1947 in Ranlo, NC. She passed away on November 3, 2023.
Vickie was the daughter of the late Mack and Irene Pace and was preceded in death by two sisters Bertha Currie and Elizabeth Barnhill and brother Mack Pace.
Vickie was a beloved wife of 56 years to Bill Flowers. She is survived by two children Tami Piercy and husband Keith of Mount Holly and Todd Flowers and wife Joy of Mount Holly; 3 grandchildren Kyle Piercy (Saydee), Savannah Bassett (Jared), Kaylee Flowers; 1 great granddaughter Emma Rose, brother Dan Pace and wife Karen and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Vickie was a member of First Baptist Church where she served as a Deacon and was involved in numerous committees and groups including the Jubilant Seniors. She enjoyed taking trips with the Vagabond Group. She retired from A&E where she served as an international pricing manager. Vickie graduated from Holbrook High School in 1966 where she was Homecoming Queen.
Vickie loved to be outdoors and travel. She loved to garden and above all else spend time with her children and grandchildren. Her generous spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service for Vickie will be held at First Baptist Church-Mt Holly on Saturday November 11th 2023 at 11:00am.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
