Walter Wayne Butler Jr., 31, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 30, 2021. He was born in Gastonia, son of Gail Butler and the late Walter Wayne Butler Sr. He graduated from Webb Street School. He enjoyed playing video games.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister Crystal Butler, brother William Wayne Butler, sister in law Brandy Smith, brother in law Jonathan Pressley Jr., step dad Clint Sanford Crisp, aunt Suzanne Blaylock and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held 6:00pm Monday, April 5, 2021 at First Methodist Church in Mount Holly. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
